Pritikin Diet

The Pritikin diet is based on founder Nathan Pritikin's efforts to rehabilitate himself after he received a heart disease diagnosis.

The Pritikin Edge: 10 Essential Ingredients for a Long and Delicious Life shows us how to limit fat consumption to control blood pressure and cholesterol.

The ideas are pretty obvious really, eat more fruits, vegetables and whole grains.  Stay away from fast food and high calorie drinks.  Don't smoke, decrease your stress levels and don't eat too much.

Why do we need to buy a book about that?  Everything I just said is common sense. 

Ah yes, the book has menus, photos and FAQ's.

Of course, got to put something in to make it worth $25.
