Mantyhose - pantyhose for men

Yes, you read that correctly, Mantyhouse.  And yes you are correct, Mantyhose are pantyhose for men.

Now why would you guys need this garment?  Well apparently the cowboys wear them to keep warm when out on those long winter rides.

To promote mantyhose a website called e-MANcipate  has been created. It's aim is to "accelerate the acceptance of male pantyhose as a regular clothing item."  The website includes helpful resources like manfacturers and mantyhose news, as well as tips like "How to put on your male pantyhose without destroying it."

e-MANcipate  was set up by a believer in mantyhose, name of Harisnya.  He wants to change people's perception of male hosiery.

Harisnya  who helped set up e-MANcipate says , "It's fun, but no joke,", and is adamant that both males and females should be allowed to wear the sexy sheer garment.

"Men have great legs and hosiery is a great way to show them. It's quite practical in some ways. It prevents chafing, for example, when horse riding or cycling, but it's also a good alternative to bulky underwear if you need some warmth".

This is all very well, but real men don't wear pantyhose.  I bet you can't find a real man doing a man's job in mantyhose.  A man like a lumberjack, or a truck driver, or a, oh!

Mike a truck driver said, "At the recommendation of my wife, I got several pairs of sheer knee-high support hose that I wear under pants, and I wear either light to medium support sheer beige pantyhose or thigh highs openly under shorts, and I've noticed a major improvement in how my legs look and feel."

"I fully intend to continue to openly wear hose both for the health benefits and for the look and feel of the soft, comfortable fabric, and encourage other men to have the courage to do the same," he added.

Mantyhose sound like thin long-johns to me.  Do men need to shave their legs as they are easier to put on with a smooth leg.

I don't understand why men are trying to get in on the act, as woman spend most of their time trying to get out of pantyhose.
