Banksy in NYC

Banksy, the artist known for his graffiti art has opened a pet store.  Not any old pet store, obviously as this is Banksy we are talking about.

The Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill opened around the beginning of October at 89 7th Avenue between West 4th and Bleeker Street in the West Village of New York City.

The store, on first glance looks like at contains pets. but after closer inspection it reveals its truth which is art.

McDonald's Chicken Nuggets peck at BBQ sauce.  Breaded fish swimming in a round fish bowl and other artistic delights await those who enter.  The store is under 300 square feet therefore can only hold twenty people at one time.  To overcome this barrier Banksy has made the entire shop front visible so the installation can be viewed day or night.

The store is open from now until October 31 so if you are in the Big Apple and get the change go and see the new Banksy.
