John Edwards' love child
John Edwards has been caught coming out of the hotel where his alleged mistress and her child were staying at 2:40 in the morning.
The National Enquirer is reporting that John Edwards was caught leaving the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles by their reporters, having spent time in the company of Rielle Hunter and her baby, who they allege is his love child.
When reporters approached John Edwards, he hid in a bathroom for 15 minutes until security rescued him.
The National Enquirer first printed the allegations of John Edward's mistress and child at the end of 2007. At the time Edwards said, "The story is false. It's completely untrue, ridiculous. Anyone who knows me knows that I have been in love with the same woman for 30-plus years."
Rielle Hunter also denies the claims. "The innuendos and lies that have appeared on the Internet and in the National Enquirer concerning John Edwards are not true, completely unfounded and ridiculous."
The rumors about John Edwards' extra-marital liaisons have been circulating for months, but the print media wouldn't touch it, not with so little evidence and not during his presidential campaign. But the campaign is over and the National Enquirer say they caught him hot-footing it from the hotel. After failing to get the presidential nomination, John Edwards was hoping to take the Barack Obama's vice-president slot, but you have to wonder if this mud that has slid from him before will finally stick?

The reason no one is paying attention to the alleged affair and love-child
is simple. You guys have made standard affairs boring. No one is claiming Edwards was seen in two
wetsuits hanging from the ceiling with a dildo lodged in his rectum. There
is no DC madam with a black book involved. No one has transcripts of him
instant messaging teen-age congressional pages or crashing their dorms in a
drunken stupor. There is no arrest record for soliciting oral sex in an
airport bathroom, complete with feisty confrontations with the arresting
officer on video tape. There is no religious hypocrisy and gay prostitution
and meth-fueled sodomy binge to talk about.
In short, aside from the fact that all there is to the story is an Enquirer
report, it is just boring. You all have made standard affairs pedestrian and
dull. Even when you use the phrase .love child,. what it boils down to is a
guy allegedly sleeping with a woman. Pretty tame stuff, given what the GOP
has provided us for the past few years.

Is John Edward's private life that important ? Is this story a Republican Smear Campaign ? Politics and the media are are just brutal. Amazingly, as things were going so well for Barack Obama, all of a sudden this story hits the wire. Conspiracy or Fact ?

the mainscream media remains complicit in their effort to shield Edwards, but I suspect this story will develop over time...Edwards is an embarrassment to NC.
