Britney Spears settles custody battle with Kevin Federline

Pop singer Britney and dancer ex-husband K-Fed have settled their acrimonious and long-running custody fight over their two children, Sean and Jayden.

Details are a little confused, with Federline's lawyer saying that his client retained sole custody and Spears' attorney saying Federline did not have permanent custody of the children.  It seems the deal gives Spears' more time with the children and Federline more money to spend on them.
