30 reasons girls should call it a night is a Facebook group where some 5,000 photos have been added to show girls in states of drunken debauchery: pretty much a good definition of when you should indeed call it a night:

A user group entitled "30 Reasons Girls Should Call It a Night" has posted more than 4,800 photos of blotto gals on the town, over the toilet and in the bar, often with their panties showing and their faces three sheets to the wind.

Named for the tongue-in-cheek list of reasons it might be time to put down the cocktail and go home ("No. 27. One minute you're strutting your stuff, the next minute you're rolling on the ground and you can't seem to remember the transition"), the Facebook group claims more than 160,000 members.

While it all seems to be good clean fun (or dirty fun, if you prefer) doctors aren't all that happy:

A user group called, "30 Reasons Girls Should Call It a Night" has posted nearly 5,000 photos of completely wasted young women making total fools of themselves. If you need proof, just check out the pictures.

"It's making light of this problem," said Dr. Petros Levounis, director of The Addiction Institute of New York, at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital. "It actually encourages us to laugh at these people and not even in a good humored manner."

 

According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are approximately 75,000 deaths each year in the U.S. as a result of excessive alcohol use. This extremely high number makes binge drinking the third leading lifestyle-related cause of death in the nation.
