Yes, We Have Eco-Idiots Here, Too.
Just down the road in Silves (15 km or so away). Local farmer plants 1 hectare of GM corn (something entirely legal) and these crusties come and rip it up.
So, anyone know how I apply for a Portuguese shotgun licence?

AntiCitizenOne, direct action is only okay if you're with the programme, try it against eco-tossers and they'd be running to the nearest cop shop wanting you arrested for violating their rights. Why is it the police don't charge these morons with criminal damage?

ps re the shot gun licence.
For large gatherings a homemade claymore mine might be more effective.
To paraphrase Mr du Toit: old-style dutbin lid, bucket of home made explosive, bucket of nuts and bolts. Some assembly required.
Some disassembly guaranteed.

A few years ago it was very easy. You simply buy it (Hunting shotgun).
Nowadays you need to have a hunting license (Get it at the Town Hall) and then you buy a shotgun. But you can also do the reverse way. Buy the shotgun and then go to the town hall to get the hunting license.

Timmy, that broken bicycle of yours is never going to be suitable for a drive-by shooting of assorted swampies. I think a better idea would be to buy a patch of land, sow it with a GM crop, and then plant a goodly selection of anti-personnel mines. Then you just wait for the unwashed horde....

The local farmer had planted 50 hectares of GM corn, not one
