Blow To The Olympics!

This'll have everyone quaking in their boots you know:

The arts world is threatening to withdraw cooperation from the Olympic Games as it fights funding cuts implemented by the Culture Secretary.

My God! quickly, phone Paris! How can we have an Olympics wihout a new Tracey Emin, a new Damien Hirst, and multi-cultural, gender inclusive, literature readings?

'Tis indeed a severe threat don't you think?

I withdrew cooperation from the Olympic Games the day it was announced, but somehow nobody cared.

It isn't just the arts, nothing even gets looked at unless it has olympic games printed on it. It is no longer a culture media and sport department it is the olympic games department.

Well if those right-on artists are turning against the Olympics its pretty dire.

Tracey Emin & Damien Hirst make all their money from the private sector. It's subsidy-leeches like Constable and Shakespeare that cost the country arts-funding cash that could be better used giving people what they want (believed to be whores & heroin).
