Recently, there was news about an effect of histoplasmosis, a bird-borne fungal infection which also parasitizes cats, mice, and humans. The news was the discovery that infected mice lost their fear of cats and wouldn't run from them.
The researchers seemed to find that infected humans became more attached to their cat pets.

Cost a damn side more than $6.00 to offset our cat's flatulence. Especially after she chomped a Starling on Monday and a Magpie on Wednesday.

PS One capitalises because of the sheer horror of discovering a semi-dead MAGPIE in one's dining-room.
