Algarve Blogging
Now if you would just like to move a little closer to your screen please. Hold your hands out, closer, closer. Now, doesn't that feel better? Aren't these Algarvian electrons warmer and more caring, even more citrussy, than those in previous posts?
Also, I stopped smoking cigarettes about an hour ago. Still only on my first cigar. Aren't you proud of the willpower being shown there?

just swopping once source of addictive nicotine for the other!
cigars probably worse for you than the fags.
two things helpful if you really want to give up:
1) fill a little jar with fag ends and a bit of water. Sniff when you get pangs for a cigarette. utterly disgusting and a put off.
2) go and see someone dying of lung cancer who has been a lifelong smoker. I did this not through choice and I'd never smoke a cigarette ever, even just for drunken laughs down the pub. An awful, and premature way to die. Watched someone die who was only 58, worked all their life and never saw retirement.
3) sit next to someone at work who puffs on 40+ a day. I did and it made me want to not smoke. Sounded like they had inhaled a pair of castanets the rattle in their lungs was so bad.

The Algarve is a horrible place full of malarial swamps and killer rabbits.

I think your puny warm electrons are being frozen somewhere across Siberia on the way here. Large, frozen, snowball-sized electrons are the way to go.

Be strong Tim! Be strong! Seriously, all the best. Yours truly and Mrs Pearce will be off to Malta for Christmas, a place that I strongly recommend.
