Why?

Stephen Pollard promised to give up ragging on Neil Clark.

Why do that? I mean, we all need a soft target now and again don't we, for when the creative juices have run dry (insert favourite joke about complete absence of such juices in these pages here).

I think a lot people will find it weird that Stephen Pollard, of all people, criticises another person for intellectual failings. This is a man who wrote a report (about the CAP) in which he inserted figures that he knew were rubbish, a man who declared the 'mainstream left' were on the other side in the 'battle for western civilisation', who thought Gordon Brown could save the Labour party in May and declared him unelectable in September, who said he was behind David Cameron in June, and that he would leave the country if he became PM, in October.
