Wendell Jones on Homeopathy

A wonderful piece by Oliver Wendell Holmes on homeopathy from an Australian site called Ratbags.

Simply by describing it at Victorian length he shows the stupidity.

The genius of homeopathy is that, unlike most alternative therapies, it's ideally designed to minimize liability.

But it's true, then just by walking around breathing we're no doubt being immunized against all manner of things, and we never even know it. That's good news!

Homeopaths?

My father, the Marquis, believes they should be birched.

I'm a little more liberal in my thinking. Better just to do all you can to discourage them when they're young.

And that jug-eared pillock Charlie, heir to the throne, thinks this nonsense should be available on the NHS (i.e. paid for by someone else).
