Timmy Elsewhere

I’ve done a second review of Tim Harford’s "The Undercover Economist". A little less simplistic and less restricted in space than The Telegraph one and also linking (ie, making use of teh internet) to a few relevant pieces as well.

Over at the Social Affairs Unit.

This Cavalier shares your irritation with the left for thinking that they have the monopoly on goodness. It is precisely that smug self-satisfaction that has led Blair's NuLabour to act in the undemocratic way that it has done in the fond belief that since they're the good guys and can do no wrong it doesn't matter if they pull a few strokes on the way to Shangri La. The result is the appalling destruction of civil liberties that we are now experiencing.
