The UK in EFTA.

Ruth Lea is promoting the idea of a Europe a la carte. Roughly speaking, for the UK, this should mean withdrawal from the EU and adopting membership of EFTA instead.

Great idea as far as I’m concerned but not, I fear, something that is ikely to happen. Simply too sensible an idea really.

Tim,

Semantics (and Pedantry) are everything. We do not have to "adopt" membership of the EFTA. We are already members by virtue of our membership of the EU.
