Telegraph Watch 1

A new category added to the blog. Telegraph Watch. Devoted to those little glitches that the current cost saving measures at the Telegraph bring us.

Today, going to the Opinion pages of the online version, as at 9.35 am London time, you get the Saturday Opinion pages. As you do the Leaders.

Well done the online team!

I have had a good look for the so-called "Grauniad" errors that you have found at the Telegraph, but I can't find them. If you look soon after the edition is published, delays in the way the edition is propogated around the servers sometimes mean the "first edition", just like in newspapers, is still lurking around, and this may have some mistakes in it. Perhaps you would prefer just to have an exciting news feed from PA? Lord knows, I've seen enough typos on the BBC website, and they've got enough subs to start their own navy!

Of course, it could be that the person putting together the edition has forgotten to change the publication date, it used to be called "human error", I think, and is easily corrected in an online edition.
