Interesting Really.
Same person, different description.
Professor Paul Rodgers, an international security expert at Bradford University, told Times Online:
Telegraph:
Prof Paul Rodgers, of the University of Bradford's department of peace studies,
Does being an international security expert or a member of a department of peace studies give you more intellectual weight?

Professor Paul Rogers is one of the chaps behind the Iraq Body Count project, a project whose statistical methods do not stand up to much scrutiny.

And let's be honest, anyone associated with a Department of Peace Studies does not deserve to be taken seriously.

From the Telegraph story
'Robert Tuttle, the American ambassador, wrote in a national newspaper yesterday that "US forces do not use napalm or white phosphorus as weapons". Col Venable said a similar denial on the US state department's website had been entered more than a year ago and was based on "poor information".'
IIRC the US denial of using napalm was utterly misleading. They had been using something very similar, but with a different chemical composition. This is not based on 'poor information', but is a deliberate attempt to mislead.

suppose it depends whether or not you believe that intellectual weight is determined by labels or not, or by the quality of what one has to say........
