BOOK NEWS!!!!!
In this last week leading up to the publication of the book (this stunning anthology of the best of British blogging over the past year that was edited by me!) it looks like Amazon is counting on it doing well!
As they tend to discount heavily those books that they think will fly off the virtual shelves (for, as they hold no stock, they don’t discount those they think will not sell, rather, those they charge full price for) this would appear to be good news.

How do they know that the revealed preference of UK punters is to pay just over a fiver for a book on the best of UK blogging? or do they know something about the elasiticity of demand?
