Britain in Europe: Fun.
Having signed up for the Britain in Europe site in order to annoy them I find this:
Britain has been part of the European Union for thirty years and while British people are often not fully aware of what the EU does, it has had a major impact on our every day lives.
Err, the Union began in 1992 so we're doing pretty well to have been a member for 30 years. The phrase "what the EU does" is actually a link and clicking on it takes you to:
404 Not Found
which seems to be an apt comment on the project.

Britain joined the EEC in 1972 so we have been a member of the European movement for 32 years. The fact that they keep changing its name and re-founding it on new treaties does not change the length of time we have been members, if that was the case when the EU Constitution comes into being we will only have just joined. Which I suppose is correct, but if we did not have the force of the already existing Union we would never join such an organisation by choice.
