Freelance Writing
Back at the beginning of the month I decided to try and see if I could make a little extra money by freelancing. I know that I can write, in the sense of placing one word after another, but I wanted to see if I could actually find anyone out there who would pay me to do it. The results for May look vaguely encouraging: $ 873.00 plus £ 50 and a free subscription to a magazine. It was rather fortunate that I chose this month to start as one of the daughters lost her job and so that extra money went straight off to her.
One of those gigs came from someone reading this blog, so perhaps if I advertise the fact that I'm open to offers I might get a few more. I'll consider pretty much anything at whatever the going rate is. Churning out 500 words on "What is a Ponzi Scheme" for $ 25 is fine, as was $ 20 for 450 on "Ways in Which Seat Belts Save Lives". What I'm really looking for of course are more things like TCS, not so much for the pay but for the fact that I get to write something interesting.
Let me know if you have any ideas eh?
