Carrie Prejean: we're up to eight sex tapes now.

More new on the Carrie Prejean front. Apparently we're up to there being eight different sex tapes now. Plus there are some 30 nude photographs around as well.

Further, contrary to what some have been saying, she was not 17 when the tapes were made: rather, she was 20 according to the recipient of one of them. That makes it much more likely that they will in fact be released as porno tapes for general viewing.

Not that this really excites us on a sexual level, but we do enjoy the shaedenfreude of someone holding herslef up as having such a strong Christian faith that she's rather a Miss Goody two shoes having an issue like this dogging her.

Stefania Fernandez

Stefania Fernandez was crowned the Miss Universe 2009 last night at a ceremony in the Bahamas. The gala was broadcast by NBC to a global audience estimated at 1 billion people.

Stefania Fernandez is the sixth Venezuelan to win the title in the 59 years of its history and the second in a row.

Fernandez won the Miss Venezuela title in September 2008, just as she turned 18: before that she had been Miss Trujillo.

Gift cards

Now this is an idea I think whose time has come. We're all familiar with the difficulties we all have in buying gifts for the holiday season? It's OK with someone you really know, or someone you love, you do indeed know just what to get them. But what about that wider family and circle of friends? It's almost impossible, isn't it?

So, instead of getting something they might not want, or that they try to take back to the store, why not get them a gift card? OK, OK, that's not all that new an idea, stores have been selling gift cards forever. But wait a minute, you've still got to go to all of the different individual stores to get the different gift cards, don't you?

So how about a one stop shop, a gift card mall, where you can get hundreds, if not thousands, of different gift cards all in the one place? That does sound like amuch better idea, doesn't it?

One single place where you can get an Applebee's gift card, a Best Buy gift card, an iTunes gift card.

That does sound like a good idea....as I say above, an idea whose time has come. Just click through any of the links above to see what they have for you at the gift card mall.

Summer Vacation Time!

Yes indeedy, it's that time of year again. It's summer vacation time!

So, where are you thinking of going? Somewhere nice? Perhaps touring Europe? Hmm, that isn't gong to be the cheapest of vacations, that's for sure, given he way that exchange rates are at the moment.

However, I've discovered something that would indeed make a European vacation easier: a way of booking decent, reasonably priced, hotels very simply. Let's take a look at Germany.

Of course, if you go to Germany you'll want to see tha capital city, so here's the information for Berlin hotels. You'll also want to travel around the country, perhaps you'd be interested in Augsburg hotels, or Nuremberg hotels? There's two great things about this site: it's both comprehensive and easy to use. Can't really say fairer than that, can you?

They cover most of the world too, so it's not just for European vacations, certainly not just for German. Well worth checking out if you're going to be travelling anywhere at all really.

Home Inspection Services

One of the things that people (that's you and I folks!) tend to pay too little attention to is the state of property that we buy. We'll spend weeks, months, looking for a house in the right location, near good schools, at the right price, but we all too rarely actually make sure of the physical state of the house itself.

That's what home inspectors are for and they're a very good investment indeed. If you're about to hand over $300,000 and up for something, it's worth getting an expert in to tell you what it's really like underneath hte paint, isn't it?

OK, the next stage is trying to find one: well, at this point those nice guys over at National Relocation can help. They've got a listing of such professionals all over the country. You can drill down it too. You can look for, example, for Arizona home inspectors, or if you need a further level of detail Scottsdale home inspectors.

If you're thinking of buying a house (maybe even a foreclosure) then this is a great resource for you to use.

VIRGINIA NATIONAL LOTTO

No, this isn't a real lottery and no, there are no prizes waiting for you here. For a start, the Virginia lottery is a State lottery, not a national one.

But more than that, this is a scam pure and simple. For there is no lottery at all. Just some criminals who want to steal your money. They will tell you that you have to send money to have your prize releasewd. Perhaps for taxes, or insurance, or a courier. Any money that you send them will just be kept by the criminals and no prize will ever be sent to you.

Ignore it, it's a scam, a fake,  a fraud.

This is a scam, an attempt to take money from you, not to give it to you.

You'll be asked to send them money to release your prize. Any money that you send will be kept by the criminals and no prize will ever be sent to you.

This is a fraud, a fake, ignore it.
