Phil Garrido, the kidnapper and rapist of Jaycee Lee Dugard, claims to have been cured of his sexual deviancy by Jesus.

Of course, as is noted, the story does contain a few little problems: like the fact that Garrido certainly didn't claim to have been cured before he got arrested. The suspicious might think that the thought of the rest of life in jail moght have something to do with the new claim.
