Bad odor over bad breath
Court cases always leave a bad taste in one's mouth. There's always so much bad odor over the shennanigans that lawyers will use to make their clients' cases. This one of course is worse than most:
The man, Marv Freadman of Chelsea, Massachusetts, filed a lawsuit in Boston federal court, saying that the Dallas-based consumer products maker is developing a "visual indicating device for bad breath."
It's actually quite a clever device: by measuring the gas output from the sort of bacteria that cause bad breath he can give an objective, rather than subjective, measurement of bad breath.
The bad odor comes from the way the large company seems intent on breaking his patent.
