Mariska Hargitay collapsed lung

Mariska Hargitay suffered a partial collapsed lung while on Christmas vacation and then again at the weekend.

Mariska was readmitted to hospital but her representative has given no details of her condition or how it occurred.  This would explain why Hargitay did not attend the Golden Globes at the weekend even though she was nominated for a best actress  in a TV drama award.

All Hargitay's representative would say is that she will not miss any tapings of her hit show, "Law & Order: SVU."
