It has to be said, there's a certain amusement at the " Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer!" announcement that greeted everybody trying to do a Google search this morning.

No, really, whatever your search, whatever the website that you were trying to reach, every single one of them was adorned with the malware alarm from Google, that " Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer! "

Sometime around 07.45 am or so Pacific Time the toggle or switch that caused that was turned off but believe me, over in Europe it caused some both confusion and amusement.

Phish Tickets

Phish tickets go on sale for their summer tour. Or at least we're all hoping that the Phish tickets will indeed be on sale. There seems to be a little confusion about exactly when they'll go on sale and then some confusion about whether the computer systems will actually support the sale of Phish tickets.

For example, here's one newspaper saying that Phish tickets go on sale today.

Tickets for reunited jamband Phish go on sale this morning. Visit www.phish.com and www.livenation.com for ticket information.

The band originally from Vermont will open their tour with two shows — June 4-5 — at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on Long Island, before launching a trek that will wind up weeks later at Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy, Wisc.

But here's another newspaper saying that the Phish tickets go on sale on Saturday morning.

As previously reported, legendary jam band favorites Phish will perform at the Comcast Center in Mansfield as part of a brief summer tour. Ticket for the June 6 show are $49.50 and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

There's also some confusion about where you can buy your Phish tickets. Is it through Tickemaster, as claimed? Or can you only get tickets to see Phish through Live Nation?

And if the Phish tickets are only avaliable through Live Nation, can their site handle the traffic?

Live Nation, which dropped Ticketmaster in favor of its own ticketing system earlier this month, is feeling the pinch today as a rush of fans seeking tickets for Phish’s summer tour slam the site. The system is rendering error messages and simply not loading for many customers as they attempt to checkout.

Well, good luck with working all of that out. And if you need a reminder of what shows are happening, what you're actually looking for Phish tickets for, then here's the list of all the Phish shows this summer.

PETA's Superbowl commercial "Veggie Love" has been banned by NBC as it "depicts a level of sexuality exceeding our standards."

PETA contacted NBC to see what they would need to do to make the commercial acceptable.  An email with the following list was sent.  All these sections needed to be cut before the commercial would be deemed acceptable.

Tess Daly Pregnant

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay are expecting their second child.

Tess is due to give birth in June so she will be back to her svelte self for the September start of Strictly Come Dancing.

Tess and Vernon have a daughter Phoebe who was born in 2004.  Since then Tess has been keen to have another baby so she and Vernon are overjoyed with their summer arrival.

Some friends of Tess noticed a small bump when she hosted the Strictly Come Dancing final and in an attempt to keep her secret said, "No I am not pregnant, its just a fat belly, leave me alone!"
