Roman Polanski sex case

Roman Polanski wants the child sex charges against him dropped.

Polanski plead guilty to having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1978 then fled the USA before sentencing could take place.  Since then Polanski has been living in self-imposed exile in France and cannot return to the USA as there is still a warrant out for his arrest.

Polanski now wants the charges dismissed after a documentary revealed "a pattern of misconduct and improper communications" between the DA's office and the judge in the case.

I think Roman is pushing his luck here.  He pleaded guilty to the charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor then left the country before being sentenced.  He said he did it, but did not want to face the punishment.  You cannot have your cake and eat it.

And then it takes someone else's documentary to highlight possible irregularities before he files this motion.  He knew he did wrong which is why he ran away and did nothing about clearing his name.

Roman you are a bad man, take your punishment like a man.
