Phelps and Beard no love match

Michael Phelps may have won eight Gold medals at the Beijing Olympics but he has not won the heart of Amanda Beard.

Amanda, former 200m breaststroke champion denied reports that a romance has blossomed between the two swimmers.  In fact Beard was quite rude when asked if she had a thing for the mighty Phelps.  When asked about the possible romance Beard replied, "Come on, I have really good taste, he's not really my type."   

Phelps was more gentlemanly when asked the same question, he replied, "No I'm not dating Amanda Beard, I think she has a boyfriend."
