DC Madam

The DC Madam has committed suicide. I'm sorry for her, of corse, but vastly more sorry for the appalling state of the criminal law in the country.

Arranging for consenting adults to have sex should not be a crime and most certainly not one that carries a possible 55 years in jail.

Good grief! Aren't there other things we might concentrate the forces of the law upon? Like, you know, crimes with victims?
