Speedo Lzr

The Speedo Lzr body suit has only been around since February and already there have been 19 long course records broken.

There have been rumours that it will be banned for use in competetive swimming but these appear unfounded as the authorities are saying that it will not be.

The reason the suit works is friction: a swimmer moving through the water faces considerable friction. The suit, by being smoother than the skin and hair of the human body, reduces this and allows faster speeds with the same effort.
