Kwame Kilpatrick

Kwame Kilpatrick has been charged with eight felony counts. Kilpatrick's problems stem from an affair he had with one of his aides and an earlier investigation into that. The allegations and charges are that Kilpatrick was less than truthful in his responses to that earlier enquiry. That's why he's been charged with perjury.

Kwame Kilpatrick insists that he's not going to resign: well, quite, who would pick up the legal bills if he wasn't on the City Hall payroll?
