Matt Maupin

The remains of Matt Maupin have been identified in Iraq. Maupin had been listed as missing, captured in action, in Iraq since April 2004.

The fuel convoy he was travelling with was ambushed just outside Baghdad. DNA testing has been able to identify remains found just recently as those of the missing soldier.

Lindsay Lohan has landed a role in the upcoming movie "Manson Girls". She'll play a loyal follower of Charles Manson.

Manson himself is still in jail: he was conviced of the murder of, amongst others, Sharon Tate, the then heavily pregnant wife of Roman Polanski. Essentially, he was a sociopathic murderer and he had a hypnosis like hold over his followers.

Another oddity is that he had a hit record with a cover version of The Beatles' "Helter Skelter".

No, this isn't a rerun of an Arnie movie. We really do have someone who is legally male who is pregnant.

However, it's important to note that "legally" male part.

What actually happened is that Thomas Beatie was indeed a woman who then changed her sex. But, unlike most who do so, the sex change was just breast reduction and testosterone injections. The womb, ovaries and so on stayed. So, come off the injections and pregnancy can indeed happen.

And that's how we get our pregnant "man".

Ouch, ouch, this hurts. Stephanie Kuleba was an 18 year old with everything to live for. A near perfect grade point average, captain of the varsity cheerleading squad, She was also off to the University of Florida this fall.

And then, sadly, Stephanie's life went all wrong: indeed, it ended.

Last weekend she went for breast augmentation surgery and died as a reaction to the anaesthesia.

It's a harsh way of learning the lesson but others please take note. Anaesthetics are dangerous, can kill you, and you really don't want to have one unless you absolutely must.
