Times Watch

Slightly odd intro to a piece in The Times.

The Liberal Democratic Party is one of the great zombies of post-war international politics – an unstoppable, unkillable creature in a grey suit

Ming and his crew? What happened to the beards and sandals?

It's only when you go to the full piece that you get the missing important information: the "Japanese" in front of the "Liberal Democratic Party".

I noticed that one too. However I think I am right in saying that the Liberal Democrats in the UK are not called "the Liberal Democrat Party", just "The [Scottish|Welsh] Liberal Democrats".
