Mirthala Salinas
This is amusing.
OK, so, Mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa is reported as having an affair. His wife sues for divorce. So far so normal. The newsreader who announces this fact to the viewers of Telemundo, Mirthala Salinas, does so. But, without pointing out that she is in fact the tottie that the Mayor is having an affair with.
No, I don't think anyone expects her to come out with "Tonio is leaving that bitch for me....and yes, he's gggrrrreat in bed" which would probably be a little too much information for anyone: as would be repeating the Pamela Stephenson trick so that everyone could get a good look at what he was getting.
But if you were running a news gathering and dissemination organization, wouldn't you be a little annoyed at missing such a story, one that one of your staff was actually sitting on, as it were?
Hhmm. Mirthala Salinas does indeed appear to be quite the hottie tottie:

Wonder how she managed to read a line like "Why the mayor is getting a divorce is unknown" with a straight face. Then again, she was previously the mistress of the Speaker of the California Assembly, Fabio Nunez, while a reporter, so she has probably had plenty of practice.

I think its a shame that after two years of marriage that they are calling it quits, however, to the "other woman", remember "KARMA", WHAT GOES AROUNDS COMES AROUND, just ask yourself, he cheated on his wife, what makes you think, he won't ever cheat on you...??? Hmmmm, Last but not least, Ms. Salinas, has a history of being a Mistress, (i.e. Fabio Nunez)....

Who really cares about the Mayor's affairs his wife is the only person who should and GOD will deal with his indiscretions. We should not put ourselves up as the Judge or the Jury he will be dealt with in time so will Mirthala.

This is not amusing. This is very sad.
Don't get it twisted; this is not a judgement, simply an observation.
I am not taking about accidentally doing the wrong thing. This woman doesn't even know what right is. She's not even embarrassed. There is certainly no shame in Mirthala Salinas'(or the Mayor's) game. She's so far gone she doesn't even know what right is. And she was backed up by her bosses.
In two months she gets her job back and we get to see her face all over T.V. again and the Mayor continues to be the mayor without interruption.
No, this isn't laughable. This is depraved.
Who they hell do these people think they are? I mean really, Who?
And who are we to let them get away with it? What has happened to us?

I think Mirthala Salinas has no stomach,knowing Villaraigosa is a married man she still had her stupid affair with him and had the guts to report that he was getting divorced !! she shows no remorse...and he is at fault also !!
