Sewage in the Firth of Forth

An interesting comment don't you think?

Murdo Fraser, Scottish Conservative deputy leader, said the incident was a "catastrophe" for the local environment. He said that water should no longer be kept under public control and that privately-owned water companies in England and Wales offer better quality services at a cheaper price.

Although the Welsh system is mutually owned, he does have at least the beginings of a point. The private companies are indeed more efficient: providing better water, less pollution and a lower price.

Choosing someone called Murdo Fraser to comment on this is brilliant.
