Harriet Harman Blogs!
The Solicitor General on soliciting:
The dreadful murders of five young women in Suffolk just before
Christmas sparked a big debate about how we ensure the safety of women
who become prostitutes because of a heroine addiction.
...
There must be a better way of helping addicts recover from heroine abuse that making them safer as prostitutes.
I'd never really thought of it like that. I suppose that if we ban young women from reading Jane Eyre or aspiring to be Lizzie Bennet then there just won't be any more tarts on street corners.

Did Harmann go to a bloody state school or something? Doesn't she know it's spelled "Heroin" without an "e" at the end, it's a trademark registered by Bayer about a century ago (maybe less).

Well, you would also have thought that a blogger would have done his research. Harriet Harman is not actually the Solicitor General - that's Mike O'Brien.
See this list from the Cabinet Office if you don't believe me.
Tim adds: Indeed, so I have been advised. She was though, at some point wasn't she? Or is my memory failing as well as my research skills? Thanks for the correction BTW.
