Not a Positive Review

I wouold have to say that this isn't really all that much of an incentive to watch this show (and who are these people anyway?).

While we’re on the power of clothes to change lives, do you think anyone at ITV has actually watched Trinny and Susannah Undress? To say that it is bad doesn’t come close. The Beeb’s fallback, What Not to Wear, with Lisa Butcher and Mica Paris, is bad. Trinny and Susannah on their new ITV mission are something else altogether, crashing through the fragile ecosystem of failing relationships with a brutality all the more terrible to watch because it is unconscious. Sooner or later those two will do real harm. Let’s hope it’s only to their careers.

At least Trinny and Susannah are off the public payroll. I hope their BBC replacements have lower wages. What's the government doing forcing us to pay for fashion programmes anyway, or any TV for that matter?

My sister swears by it (but then she also swear by Britain's/America's/Swaziland's Next Top Model so her opinion should, perhaps, be taken with a pinch of salt).

What gets me isn't the way these screeching harpies storm into the lives of ordinary folk to suggest that a fresh wardrobe will liven up a stale marriage, but the fact that they don't look good. They're not attractive people, and they dress in silly clothes. Taking wardrobe advice from these gussied-up lunatics would be like accepting dietary advice from my 18-stone mate Big Dave.
