Contract to Kill.
This is slightly weird. A contract is a contract, even if it is a contract to kill.
Break it, and if the mob don’t get you, Maidstone Crown Court will.
Kevin Reeves, 40, was jailed for 15 months and ordered to pay £2,000 compensation after accepting £20,000 from a friend so depressed that she asked him to find a hitman to murder her. He even offered to do it himself, but got no further than pocketing the money.
I didn’t think you could have a contract to enforce someone to do something illegal? Still, they actually got him for deception rather than breach of contract. Would have been odd if they’d said complete the contract or else really.

When I studied a law module at university, I was told, and shown a supporting case study, that you cannot sue for breach of contract in the case when fulfilling the contract would knowingly involve doing something illegal.

Note that if it wasn't possible to bang people up for deception in this way, it would be hard to prosecute Nigerian 419 scammers as they would be able to argue that they had no liability for your cash as you were asking them to do something illegal.
