Quote of the Day.
My apologies to Memento Moron who I found via Triticale. I'm sure that courtesy requires that I send you to his page to read his wit and wisdom but this is simply too good. I therefore steal it with acknowledgement.
First they came for Logic, and I did not speak out, for I did not think logically.
Then they came for Thesis and Synthesis, and I did not speak out, for I did not think synthetically.
Then they came for Reason, and I did not speak out, for I did not think reasonably.
Finally they came for me, and I could no longer think for myself.
Rather describes a common mindset in the 21 st century doesn't it?
Update. Now you really do have to go to Memento Moron ("Remember: Thou Art Stupid") as he has polished the lines to bring them closer to the original Niemoller. Works even better. I also like his last graph:
As soon as I had this thought, I realized that if I made the change, and even more so if I explained the change, there would be some who would accuse me of thinking too much. This, of course, cemented my decision.

That should read "sufficient". Also, please note the change made to the quote on my site, and the rational I offer for it.

Er rather, rationale. Please excuse my sloppiness, I've not yet imbibed sufficent amounts of coffee.
