Now here’s a fun little site. Link Experiment.

The question is, how much can Brandon sell 100 links from his web page for? $223 or so so far and counting.

This is rather like the million dollar home page. A guy in the UK set up a page of one milion pixels and sold each one off for one dollar. Each one pixel was a link to the home page of the advertiser. Of course, some large companies bought much more than just one: some bought hundreds.

But of course, the story generated such interest in the papers and on the net that even a few hundred dollars spent on the website translated into huge publicity for those companies advertising there.

I think Brandon’s hoping for something similar, a surge of interest across the web that will put up the value of his real estate. And good luck to him I say, hope this post raises his rankings just that little bit.
